Softball Fall Hitting Development Clinic

The St. Cloud State University softball program is offering three hitting development clinics to help youth softball players develop their Fastpitch softball swing in September.

The Fall Hitting Development Clinics are available on Tuesdays, Sept. 7, 14, 21, from 6:00-7:00 pm at historic Selke Field (located off University and 12th Avenue SE). The clinics are open to players age 10-18 and the cost per date is $20 for one session or $50 for all three sessions.

One of the premier hitting instructors in Division II, Coach Paula U’Ren and her staff will provide hitting instruction to players that are looking to improve and develop their Fastpitch softball swing. Through drills and mechanic breakdown, hitters will be given the opportunity to develop their swings and hitting mechanics through this 3-week hitting session. Selke Field multi-hitting cages allow for athletes to get maximum instruction.

Participants are asked to bring a glove, a water bottle, outdoor shoes/cleats, helmet and a bat.

Please direct questions in regards to the hitting sessions to Paula U’Ren (320-308-2900 or pjuren@stcloudstate.edu).
